L-r: Indigo. Red onion skins. Coffee grounds.

The last two were gently heated to a boil, then simmered for an hour. Skeins were presoaked thoroughly then immersed in dye bath, brought up to a simmer again for an hour, then allowed to cool in bath overnight. It’s a slow process but exciting nevertheless.
