Now and again there are glimpses of a less fragmented home life. At the moment, still a rarity. A6.4, T3.7.

Long overdue catch up with Bea today. Ours is one of those friendships that doesn’t need too much but keeps on giving 💖

Finished book via audio — it’s the better way to appreciate this memoir. Author narrates plus the recorded therapy sessions requires it!
Just dug out a young crepe myrtle (two seasons old) to plant somewhere else — the vast somewhere else of garden mythology.
Back in the Ravelry rabbit hole and some of the patterns I would love to knit are so out of reach right now (skill wise)!

Very enjoyable read. The writing style is not the easiest to digest (esp after a long hiatus from the genre). However I feel like my vocabulary has expanded immensely by the end. Highly recommend! Brother Cadfael reminds me of P.F. Ford’s Norm.
A meadow underwater. How absolutely stunning. So glad I looked.
How many more days until picking?
Pretty sure this is not Seaton’s J’adore.

Prequel to the West Wales series that focuses on Southall. Which means no Norm. Which means nothing endearing. The ending felt rushed. If not for Polly, this would have been 2/5.
I really didn’t need another dozen tulips to plant… and yet here I am.

I must admit I’m only reading this because of my recent rose bush acquisition (a DA named Brother Cadfael). I hope it’s good!

I’ve heard so much about this book and expected too much. Still a great read but has not made it to the favourites list.

For the genre (cosy mystery!), it’s a great read! Can’t help but like Norm. He reminds me of my favourite mentor, Carlos.

Found the book repetitive and thought the focus on safety-ism valid but also wanted to retort back (to no one in particular) that it’s not that simple okkk. Agree with most of it and the recommendations are solid enough. I just think that majority of the onus needs to be on the design end of tech.
First bunch of chrysanthemums I’ve ever picked. Pictured here are Champagne and Baltica Salmon.
